| It's been a busy and productive summer. The
weather hasn't been too bad and we've been darn lucky to miss all those
hurricanes (so far). Summer is usually a bad time for stain in lumber. We
have done exceedingly well with the hard maple and have some of the
prettiest and cleanest you will find anywhere. We're sorting it clear,
wide clear, and selects. On the flip side, we have available paint grade
pine (ie., blue stain and/or brown stain) in 4/4, 5/4, 6/4 and 7/4, all at
the same bf price of 1.20 for the C-sel and 1.00 for the D-sel. We also
have a good supply of clean C and D select in the various thicknesses.
